1. Information We Collect
We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when registering on the App. The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us.
- Personal Data: Name, phone number, email address, and delivery address.
- Location Data: We request access to track your location-based information to match you with nearby home cooks strictly within a 2km radius.
- Camera and Photos: For Chefs, we request access to your device's camera to upload kitchen stories and food item photos to verify hygiene.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Create and securely manage your user account.
- Process your pre-orders and manage hyperlocal deliveries.
- Facilitate real-time text chat between Customer and Chef.
- Monitor and enforce hygiene and safety standards.
3. Data Deletion Policy
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. You can delete your account directly from within the App by navigating to Settings > Delete Account. Alternatively, you can request data deletion by clicking the button below or contacting us directly. Once requested, your personal data, including order history, chat logs, and saved addresses, will be permanently removed from our secure Firebase databases within 30 days.
4. Security & Third Parties
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information. Our platform relies on robust third-party services like Firebase for Authentication and Firestore for database management. Financial transactions (UPI) are handled directly between user and chef, meaning we do not store your bank or card details.
